The Fortune 500 Turkey list takes into account various indicators and trends related to companies from all industry sectors, and it is widely used as an indicator of the health of a company and as a reliable benchmark for investors.
Specifically, the new Global Turkish Companies project aims to highlight the companies that are already among the major and leading players in Turkey in their own fields, but which are becoming globalized with significant foreign investments and recognized brand awareness worldwide. The list is compiled according to the export sales turnover of the companies, and the sub-lists include construction companies according to the number of foreign projects, logistics companies according to the number of actively served foreign countries, and manufacturers according to the number of production sites abroad.
Thanks to the wealth of information held in the CRIF and Dun & Bradstreet database, various sources were scanned and used to classify the first Global Turkish Companies list.
