On March 22, 2023, CRIF was invited by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) to share its views and experience in a seminar focusing on European regulations and how to boost the cross-border supply chain.

In recent years, the government and industry in Hong Kong have actively promoted the sustainable development of Hong Kong's business community. As a result, more and more companies have started to consider how to implement different measures in their companies to achieve sustainable development and enhance their competitiveness.

CMA is one of the non-profit industrial organizations in Hong Kong that promotes ESG. It has held several seminars to introduce ESG in the past few years and has recently engaged in multiple ESG programs and initiatives for its members.

Calvin Ho, General Manager of CRIF Hong Kong, explained the European ESG regulatory framework with a focus on the most recent directive impacting the supply chain and market players alike. He also showcased Synesgy, a global digital platform for ESG sustainability assessment, and how it can support companies in achieving their sustainable development goals.

The seminar received an overwhelming response, and members were very interested in the topics shared.
