From May 2 to 4, the "Capacity Building Program for Central Banks from African Region on credit reporting international best practice" took place in Rabat (Morocco).
The Study Tour, hosted by the IFC, was attended by several central banks including the Central Banks of Morocco, Angola, Libya, CEMAC and Madagascar.
The main topic of the event was credit reporting systems, with a particular focus on harnessing granular data to build a modern credit reporting ecosystem, and the role of modern public credit registries and private credit bureaus in supporting the regulator’s functions and tasks.

On Thursday May 4, CRIF had the opportunity to play an active role in the event, with a presentation by Enrico Caruso and Simone Rampichini. The presentation focused on the importance of integrating business information into credit registries to ensure more effective and efficient supervision by central banks.
