June 2022

On June 22-24, CRIF representatives took part in the Devoxx Poland 2022 conference. Not only did they have the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures, but CRIF also became a silver sponsor of the event, allowing the CRIF delegates to establish many contacts with people from the IT industry.

Devoxx is a conference dedicated to all fans of new technologies – from Big Data, through AI, cybersecurity and UXUI, organized annually in 6 countries (Belgium, France, UK, Poland, Morocco, and Ukraine). The Polish edition attracted almost 3,000 participants – online and in person - who could listen to almost 100 presentations by speakers from around the world. This time the event took place at the ICE Congress Center in Krakow.

The 2022 conference lasted 3 days and focused on 11 key areas:

  • Architecture,
  • Big Data & AI,
  • Delivery & Infrastructure,
  • Development Practices,
  • Java,
  • Mind the Geek,
  • Programming languages,
  • Security,
  • Soft Skills,
  • UI & UX,
  • DevNation Day.

The aim of the conference was to “provide a first-class tech conference where passionate developers can network, hack, get inspired and learn throughout. Devoxx is a conference by developers, for developers – it is a community effort.”

During each day of the conference, simultaneous presentations took place in English on selected topics, for example: “Evolving your HTTP APIs, a pragmatic approach” by Nicolas Fränkel, “4 Pillars of Microservices in Kubernetes” by Damian Naprawa, and “Hazelcast 5.2 - What's Next?” by Grzegorz Piwowarek. It was an intense concentration of knowledge - the presentations lasted from morning to evening, followed by time for networking.

During the event, CRIF representatives had the opportunity to talk to IT enthusiasts at the CRIF stand, which was very popular.
