July 2022

CRIF in DACH sent a strong message in relation to digital customer journey management at the 10th anniversary of the K5 conference, one of the most important conferences for the retail, e-commerce, and payment sector, held in Berlin from June 29 to 30.

Since the rebranding of CRIF Germany in November 2021, this was the first occasion where all three countries (Austria, Germany, and Switzerland) were represented by the same brand. The stage was visible throughout the exhibition hall and the interesting agenda attracted many visitors.

CRIF covered two slots, where retailers presented their cases about integrated identity, credit risk & fraud management.

On the first day, Jean-Paul Feidt, Lead Payment and Fraud Management at Douglas, and Christian Maiwald, Director of eCommerce at CRIF Germany, talked about how to successfully go international with payment and fraud strategies.

On the second day, they were joined by Swantje Goedicke, Head of Customer Service B2C at Orion, and moderator Kerstin Valet, Head of Marketing & Communication at CRIF Germany, for a panel discussion on whether or not to manage BNPL in-house or to outsource it.

Alongside Kerstin, Jan Ruebel, GIL eCommerce & Payment at CRIF, also moderated the stage.
