CRIF on the board of the Bitkom Marketing & Events Working Group
Kerstin Valet, Head of Marketing & Communication at CRIF Germany, has been elected as a new board member of the Bitkom Marketing & Events Working Group.
Bitkom is Germany’s digital economy association and represents more than 2,700 companies in the digital economy, with the goal of establishing digital change in Europe and globally, starting from Germany.
CRIF has been a member of Bitkom for several years in order to push its positioning as a best-in-class partner for digital and automated data-driven processes. Bitkom advocates the digitization of the economy, society and public administration, pushing for the faster rollout of gigabit networks and digital infrastructure for energy and mobility, for trade and smart homes, and for cities and regions. Moreover, it supports policies for data-driven business models, for data protection and cybersecurity, for platforms, disruptive technologies, work 4.0, and life-long education in a digital world.
Kerstin Valet joins the board along with other members from Google Germany, Accenture Interactive, T-Systems International, Salesforce, WSW Software GmbH, and GFT.
“I look forward to working with the board and other working group members to make the impact of marketing on the corporate success of companies visible. Based on our combined knowledge and expertise in digital marketing, the board will set the agenda for the next two years, developing new formats for knowledge exchange, taking a stand on issues such as GDPR and sustainability, as well as pushing initiatives which promote the collaboration of marketing and sales,” explains Valet.
