The need for flexibility when operating in different production environments - from on-premises to Cloud - has driven the need to abstract applications by increasingly decoupling
them from the underlying environment, and container technology has made a key contribution to achieving this goal. Through this abstraction, and with increasingly powerful automation technologies, simpler application deployment has been achieved with reduced execution times and complexity. The orchestration of these objects has therefore become central to the innovation of deployment processes.

To understand how CRIF Global Technologies, the IT Division of CRIF, arrived at the decision to adopt the OpenShift orchestration platform, we first need to look at two key aspects: microservice architecture and its relationship with containerization.
