Rome, 25 June 2019

On June 25 at its Rome offices, CRIF hosted a delegation of 24 central bank representatives from the MENA, AFRICA and ECA areas, organized by the IFC-World Bank.
The aim of the meeting was to show the delegation the differences between a Public Credit Registry and a mature Private Credit Bureau.

Davide Meo, CRIF Sales & Direct Markets Director, Pietro Nardi, CRIF Associate Account Manager, Elisa Maione, CRIF Sales Representative, Emanuela Ianni, CRIF Senior Advisor, Giulia Coluccio, CRIF Business Consultant and Stella Lanzi, CRIF Regulatory & Development Specialist, Public Affairs and Advocacy, led the meeting and answered questions from the delegation.


The Italian “study tour” has been organized by the IFC for the Central Banks and regulators of: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Georgia, Guinea, Jordan, Madagascar, and Morocco.
The central bank delegation visited the Bank of Italy and the Italian Data Protection Authority while in Italy. At the end of the Italian tour, the 24 delegates headed for Germany to visit the Bundesbank.
