It serves as a platform for discussion among key players and experts in the financial industry. The top lenders in Mexico, who are also clients of Buró de Crédito, took part to learn more about new findings, methodologies, and scoring and analytics solutions.

CRIF was invited to present the methodology and results of the most recent project awarded by Buró de Crédito. The No Hit Scoring Model will score the probability of default of borrowers with no or poor credit history. There was a lot of excitement and interest from the attendees because the no hit segment represents a big challenge and a huge market opportunity for financial institutions.

CRIF experts Orlando Rossi, Analytics and Consulting Director at CRIF, and Graciela Martinez, Statistical Advisor at CRIF LAC, presented how the attributes of this multiple scorecard development were generated from a variety of internal and external data sources and designed to maintain consistency and accurate prediction. The scoring system is complementary to the current BC Score, also provided by CRIF, ensuring smooth implementation within the credit strategies of each entity. Buró de Crédito is planning to launch the new score before the end of the year.
