Attilio Leonardo Lentati
Attilio Leonardo Lentati is acting as Senior Advisor to CRIF SpA. He has worked for over fifty years in the world of finance, insurance and banking, with particular reference to capital market, investment and pension funds, life and non-life reserves, as well as in Investment Banking at top management level.
He has served, among other things, on the Board of Directors of the Allianz Investment Corporation of New York, Mercury Privatisation Trust Ltd (S.G. Warburg Group) of London, Objective France 2000 (Lazard Group) of Paris, Europensiones S.A. (Banco Popular/Allianz) of Madrid and Banca Generali.
In particular, he acted as CEO of the RAS Group (Allianz) from 1991 to 2000, as Deputy Executive Vice-Chairman of UBM, the investment bank of Unicredit, from 2001 to 2007, and as Senior Advisor for the top management of Unicredit Group from 2008 to 2012.
Andrea Resti acts as Senior Advisor to CRIF SpA. As an Associate Professor at Bocconi University in Milan, he gained important experience in the field of risk and banking regulation.
He acts as a consultant on banking supervision to the European Parliament and as independent director of REV, the bad bank wholly owned by the Bank of Italy. He sits in the Scientific Committee of AIFIRM
He was previously the vice-chair of the Banking Stakeholders’ Group of the European Banking Authority, an Independent Member of the UBI Banca Supervisory Board and a consultant for the European Investment Bank, a “Senior rapporteur” for the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels (taking part in the Basel II Task Force), a Member of Steering Committee of the Permanent Working Group on Bank Risks for the Italian Interbank Deposit Insurance Fund (FITD), and an Economic Advisor for Assogestioni.
He was also the Scientific Director of the Annual Conference on Risk and Supervision of the Italian Banking Association (ABI), and consultant for the Bank of Italy and leading Italian banks. He has published various books on regulation and risk management, both in Italy and abroad.
