Italian Confidi Business Sprint is a decision-making support system for providing credit guarantees to small and medium companies (sole proprietorships, partnerships and joint stock companies with revenues up to 50 million euro).

Thanks to the differentiation of processes, information sources and rating classifications based on the type of company combined with effective information retrieval systems and computerized data acquisition, Italian Confidi Spring Business makes assessing a company’s creditworthiness faster, more flexible and more reliable.

When the company’s identification data and the credit and guarantee request data are entered, the system automatically processes the information taken from various sources (Eurisc, Business Information, etc.); the resulting score and overall rating, furnished as a rating class and default probability, are in compliance with Basel II requirements. The system then suggests an action to take for the company based on the credit rules set by the Italian Confidi and provides all the details used to reach this decision.

Italian Confidi Sprint Business can also be integrated with a “quality” evaluation component, related to the evaluation sensitivity of analysts and their direct knowledge of the individual company and the business context it works in. Various quality questionnaires can be implemented to cross match with the “quantity” rating to make a final decision on the company.
